Originally a joint venture between watchmaker Swatch and Mercedes-Benz the smart was conceived as the perfect car for town dwellers that rarely stray beyond the city limits. Despite being easy to drive and park the two-seater fourtwo, which is sold as a coupe and a convertible, struggles to generate showroom traffic.
