Porsche Cayenne 2024 Engine
There are four core powertrains for the 2024 Porsche Cayenne - a 3.0-litre V6 turbo petrol, 3.0-litre V6 turbo petrol-electric plug-in hybrid and the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol. All are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The V6 makes 260kW/500Nm, a 10kW/50Nm improvement over the previous model.
This same engine is paired with an electric motor for the E-Hybrid range, with Porsche introducing an updated motor that has improved range, more power and faster charging. The E-Hybrid has a combined system output of 346kW/650Nm. The Cayenne S E-Hybrid SUV and Coupe makes 382kW/750Nm.
The Cayenne S now features a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that makes 349kW/600Nm; a 25kW/50Nm improvement from the previous twin-turbo V6.
The Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid pairs the V8 engine with the electric motor to make 544kW/950Nm.
The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT model has the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 as the Cayenne S but is modified to make 485kW/850Nm.

Aurion to replace my Maxima?
Thanks for the email. Hopefully I can keep this simple.Â
I would strongly recommend a Toyota Aurion V6 $30,990 drive away or the Toyota Camry $28,990 drive away (pricing current September 2015).Â
Unless you want the acceleration of the V6 I would opt for the four cylinder Camry, which is spritely enough and will also deliver good open road fuel economy.Â
For the type of driving you're doing you do not need the hybrid Camry.Â
Also, the base model Camry on the smaller wheels and Michelin tyres will be much more comfortable and a touch quieter than the dearer Camry models that come with sports tyres.Â
In both the Aurion and Camry you will be protected by seven airbags and a five star safety rating. A rear camera is standard on both models too.Â
The servicing costs are among the cheapest in the business.Â
Furthermore the intervals are longer than other Toyotas (15,000km rather than 10,000km) and the capped pricing lasts four years or 75,000, whichever comes first (other Toyotas are three years, 60,000km).Â
This was done to help Aurion and Camry appeal to fleets.Â
However, your warranty is the same as other Toyotas at three years/100,000km.Â
Dealership extended warranties are generally not worth the paper they are printed on, so save your money if you're offered an extension.Â
Please check you're comfortable when driving the Aurion and Camry. They have ample room inside and a lot of travel in the front seat rails.Â
Meanwhile, you're right in your assumption that Toyotas are regarded as a premium over Holden and Ford. The price is cheap because Toyota is trying to keep the factory running until 2017. It is in effect making a loss with each Camry it sells.Â
Toyota also has a vast rural dealer network so hopefully you're never far away from help should you need it.Â
Lastly, the Camry was at $26,990 drive away for much of last year and the price may limbo to that level again in the lead up to the end of the year or early next, to clear 2015 stock. This is not an inside tip, merely an educated guess on my part.

Porsche Cayenne 2024 Interior
The 2024 Porsche Cayenne features a redesigned interior. The changes take inspiration from the Porsche Taycan electric car, with Porsche introducing a new digital instrument display and shifting the gear-shifter to the centre fascia, while switching it to its toggle-style selector.
The re-designed dashboard panel has also allowed Porsche’s designers to create the option of a third digital display, this one in front of the passenger seat. This is available as an option across the line-up.Â

Porsche Cayenne 2024 Range
The Porsche Cayenne and Cayenne S feature a 90-litre fuel tank which is enough for 865km and 730km of driving range, respectively.
The E-Hybrid has a smaller 75-litre fuel tank but also a claimed fuel economy of just 1.9L/100km. The larger battery allows for an electric-only driving range of up to 86km.
