These models are in stock now with drive-away deals! Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Kia, Volkswagen and more cars ready to buy now

The model year 2022 Isuzu MU-X LS-T is in runout right now.

While most carmakers have struggled with supply over the past two years, there appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel for some brands.

At least some of the parts shortages and supply chain dramas have abated, enough for a few of the biggest brands to have stock in dealerships now.

In fact, a quick look online reveals that a bunch of the top carmakers have special deals and offers on some of their top-selling models.

Anyone searching the ‘Offers’ section of a carmaker’s website in the last 12 months would have been disappointed, but that’s changing as brands look to push as much stock out the door before the end of the year.

So what models are available now and which ones have solid deals? This is by no means an exhaustive list, but here are a handful, with drive-away prices calculated using Melbourne as the location.

Small cars and SUVs

A lot of the deals on these available cars are just for drive-away pricing, but that does make the pricing more defined than having to work out the additional on-road costs.

Case in point, small car specialist Suzuki has drive-away deals on its Ignis small SUV (from $23,490 for the base GL manual) and Swift hatchback (from $25,990 for the base GL S manual), but they don’t appear to be any cheaper than usual.

Hyundai Venue.

Hyundai is also offering drive-away pricing for the little Venue small SUV (from $24,990 for the manual), as well as the Kona ($29,490) and i30 ($25,990).

Sister brand Kia also has deals on its small-car range, with the tiny Picanto GT-Line manual going for $19,990 drive-away, while the Rio Sport auto ($24,990), Stonic Sport auto ($28,190) and Cerato S auto hatch and sedan ($27,490) are also available with drive-away pricing.

Mitsubishi is offering up lower grade versions of the ASX small SUV like the ES from $29,240 for the auto, and the Eclipse Cross LS auto from $36,190.

The funky Ford Puma small SUV is currently starting from $32,500 drive-away for the entry grade, but there are also drive-away deals on the ST-Line and ST-Line-V.

If you’re after something French, the Citroen C3 hatchback is available from $34,990 drive-away.

Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Adventure.

Larger family SUVs

Sticking with the French theme, Citroen also has deals on the C5 Aircross (from $54,990), while its sister brand Peugeot also has demonstrator run-out deals “across the range”, according to its website, without highlighting specific models.

Volkswagen also has stock of, and deals on, its Australian-market special version of the Tiguan Allspace. The Adventure loses some things like a third row, but gains some police-spec features and a beefy 162kW engine. It is priced from $54,990 drive-away.

If you’re after a bit more off-road capability, the model year 2022 Isuzu MU-X LS-T is in runout ahead of the 2023 version. Isuzu is selling the top-spec MU-X for $65,990 drive-away.

In the same category, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport GLX starts from $47,240 drive-away for the five-seat two-wheel drive model.
